Visitors attending IFFA 2026, scheduled for May 4-9, will experience a redesigned and enhanced facility layout at the Frankfurt Trade Fair and Exhibition Centre.

For the first time, the exhibition will utilize Hall 11, featuring two levels designated 11.0 and 11.1. These floors will showcase vendors specializing in packaging solutions, supply equipment, and precision measurement and weighing systems displaying their latest innovations.

Industry leaders in processing and cutting technology will occupy the upper level in Hall 11.1, creating a dedicated zone for these equipment categories.

Hall 4.1 will debut as the new home for retail-focused offerings, including products designed for butcher shops and packaging material manufacturers, consolidating these segments in a single location.

One level below, on floor 4.0, exhibitors presenting ingredients, seasonings, and food additives will be positioned, creating a logical flow for attendees seeking these product categories.

Wolfgang Marzin, Executive Board Chairman at Messe Frankfurt, explained the strategic rationale behind the redesigned layout: "The reconfigured floor plan for IFFA 2026 represents a significant improvement for attendees. By incorporating Hall 11 into the exhibition space, we can concentrate the entire range of machinery and equipment efficiently in the western section of the Exhibition Centre."

He continued, "This consolidation results in reduced walking distances for visitors and enhanced navigation throughout the venue. Additionally, the impressive Portalhaus provides attendees with a striking new western entrance point."

Marzin emphasized the quality of the new space: "Hall 11 stands as our most contemporary exhibition hall, offering an exceptional atmosphere. Importantly, this new configuration allows us to address the persistent request from numerous exhibitors for additional exhibition space."

Messe Frankfurt projects that approximately 950 exhibitors representing 47 countries will present their innovations across more than 100,000 square meters of exhibition space. The event anticipates around 58,000 industry professionals in attendance.
